Raising Money Through Special Events

This is Part 2 in the new series, Raising Money Through Special Events.
In Part 1 of this series, we helped you to think through whether or not a special event is the right strategy for your organization. If you concluded that a special event is right for your organization, the next step for you is to understand the different options available to you and the many steps involved in planning a successful fundraising event. In this session, you will learn the nuts and bolts of putting together a gala event. The advice is valid for many types of galas, including events that feature a special honoree or significant acknowledgement, a presentation about your organization or cause, any type of performance, or other revenue-generating opportunities, such as prize drawings.
